Well we had a great week at Indiana, Chesapeak and Western PA. Casowasco was good because we got to see Michelle, and she was a blessing to us, and its nice to hear that we were an encouragement to her. We have learned so many things, starting from team dynamics and learning to take criticism, as much as sacrificing wants for the team. As for campers, its been great getting to know so many amazing kids, and being able to pour God’s love into their life. I can’t wait to see what else God has in store for us. We were able to meet an  OKWU team, two IWU teams, and two SWU teams. I had the opportunity to grow closer to some of them, such as Matt, Joel, and Adam. Ive gotten to know Bri a lot better, and they are all such a great blessing. Go KetchUp! and Go Green Beans! haha. We have encountered some great speakers, and great worship bands. We have been able to see Sho Baraka and Trip Lee in Concert, which were phenomenaL! We were also to  experience AFterEdmund in concert and as a worship team.

Something that really impacted my life was, that we echo who God is through us. Also one of the speakers quotes, ” the question isn’t if this is a sin, the question is, will this pull me closer to Christ? ”

God is love.

It’s never easy to say goodbyes. I had the opportunity to spend two years with the staff and councilors of Mantowagan Camp located in Saxton, PA. I got to spend a lot of time with my campers, who I can now call friends. Shout out to my girls cabin 2!! Special thanks to the Salyards family who we had the privilege of staying at their home twice   in layover nights. We cannot thank them enough. It has been a growing experience, and I can’t be happier and i can’t feel more proud about my girls, specially seeing Labrina and Erin council junior high week, after them being my campers! it is just some crazy stuff. Today we traveled for aproximately 9 hours, without counting rest stops. We are now in Indiana, and we are pumped for the next camp. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us. To him be all the glory <3 Soli deo Gloria. John 3:30.

This is my second week at camp, and I can’t believe its over.   I will dearly miss camp mantowagan, because despite the fact that its been a year since  I have seen the staff there… I made amazing relationships, and friendships that I will always keep close to my heart. I will miss my campers, and now friends, and I can’t wait to see what God will do with them. God showed me so much, and blessed me through so many people, that I can’t wait to see what else he has in store in this amazing journey with my team Soli Deo Gloria- Houghton 2011. God is Love! <3
